Things here are looking better, I guess. Blog Mom says that Daddy's vet says he's out of the woods. I just thought he was in the hospital, not the woods. Anyway, in this case being out of the woods is a good thing, they tell me. They're still going to keep him and do tests and things to him for a few days. I don't care for that, but it seems there's nothing to be done about it.
We're sorry there are not any new pictures. Or old ones. All Blog Mom has had time for are basic pupdates. We both want to thank you all again for your good thoughts and well wishes. I'm sure they did the trick. Blog Mom said that Daddy's vet admitted that Daddy had him scared there for a while, but no one is scared now. So, that's good. Tomorrow should be the same as today. More hospital time than posting time for Blog Mom. I do wish they'd let me go there. I'm sure that a few face licks would set Daddy right up.
So glad to hear the good news... a positive start to the week indeed... I'm sure if only nurse Lola were around, it would be a much speedy recovery.

oh, miss lola, i'm so relieved that your daddy is doing better! if only you could get into that vet and give your daddy gooey nose kisses. maybe you could plan a covert sneak-in. let's see, you'd need a wig and a dress for starters.

We KNOW your Dad would love to see you, Lola, but hospitals are a bit strange that way. Too bad. We're very glad he's come back from his walk in the woods, though!

What good news! I'm glad he is doing better.
ReplyDeleteAbout your question:
"Toby, do you think your Raiser would let us have a picture of the pawprints to put in a special place on our blogs if we want to"
I don't mind if you take the picture, I think that's a great idea, I'll make sure to tell my Raiser about that. I think she may pass it on to all of my friends like an "award"!
Toby
Oh nos! Just read about your dad! Glad he seems to have found his way out of the woods though! Paws crossed that he gets to come home soon...where you can work your doggy medicine and be his nurse....maybe you can sneak in in a laundry cart like in the movies??
ReplyDeleteHi Lola, I just discovered your blog through Mayzie's blog, and I'm so sorry to hear that your dad has been sick. I hope he feels better and gets to come home to you soon!
ReplyDeleteLola, that hospital is so wrong-thinking! We all know the therapeutic value of face licks. But I bet that if you remind your patient that the sooner he comes home the sooner he'll get those licks, he'll get better as fast as he can.

Great news, Lola. Being out of the woods is always a good thing, even if the meaning confuses you. Phew. Always good news!

Tuesday Morning
ReplyDeleteMorning Lola...did I tell you I love your name? If not, consider yourself told!!! How is Dad today? I've never met a doggie in person but you do so look like a doggie I could love. We used to have a basset hound named Charlie Brown in our neighborhood. Even though he was vertically challenged,he was an escape artist when it came to getting out of his yard. He would always run to our yard. Our deck has steps on either side he would run up one side down the other repeatedly. I used to roll on the floor mol when he did this. His mom and my mom would get on either side of the deck to catch him. His mom told my mom that she thought CB wanted to live with me. Now that would have been fun,
