We're Driving Everyone Crazy

Finally it's not so hot out. But it's raining. It rained yesterday and today and it's supposed to rain for the next couple of days, too. This is great news for what grass we have left, but we are not water dogs - at all - and we can't go out and do this:
Please pardon our blur.
Sorry for the horrible photo quality. Blog Mom's camera is not adequate for capturing our supersonic Pei play. Now that Franklin and I are all bonded and on the same page we have gotten used to being able to do zoomies and play Pei tag in the yard when it gets cool enough after dinner. Faced with two days of (very much needed) rain, we're getting a little antsy. I think that everyone should be able to understand that. Yet, you'd think that zoomies in the living room was disturbing the peace or something, the way everyone seems kind of testy about it. Thing is, we don't really care that much. They'll get over it.

  1. Raining here in Nh also! We need it, but the dogs refuse to go out in the rain. Lola and Franklin zoomies in the living room sound fun, we do that and run from bedroom to bedroom. Our Mommy gets angry sometimes, but she gets over it for quick.

  2. Hi Lola and franklin ..

I hope moms have pei proofed the living room ... I remember those days when it rained so hard I couldn't even go for my toilet break in peace..

But it's definitely nice to be out to stretch those muscles of yours once the weather cools down a little..

  4. Hope the weather clears up quick and you can go out for zoomies with Franklin... a restless pei does drive everyone crazy, we need our daily dose of running and sniffing, even if it's inside the house :)

  8. My goodness! Surely they don't expect you to just lay there all day! Maybe you should try running up and down the stairs or using the cats as hurdles. You know, add a little variety to life!

  24. We feel your pain. We have had a lot of inside time this summer with the horrible heat that wouldn't go away. And then we get in trouble if we race in the rain and make the house all muddy - what's a pup to do? We have a few days of nice temps right now, so we are all outside a lot today enjoying it while it lasts.

  25. Hi Lola, It has been a ruff summer with days so hot you can't stand being outside except early Am & late Pm. On days that it is only 90 degrees it rains!! It has been ruff for us all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for you visit and your kind words!!!

  26. The blurred photo seems like a good way to show how super-fast you are. We had a reprieve in weather the other day, and all of a sudden Mr. B, who has been slow all summer, became "jackrabbit Mr. B" and was leaping all around on his walk.

  27. WOW! You really ARE super fast! I thought maybe your wrinklies would slow you down but they sure don't, do they? I think the humans should be grateful that you lets them sit in your play area. Make sure to remind them of that the next time it's time to play. I bet they'll feel bad they even brought it up.
