Is it Saturday Already?

Well, we thought we would blog hop again this Saturday. We're too sleepy do to a real post just yet and I look a mess. There's a lump on my head. Well, actually it doesn't much show yet because of the wrinkles but if it's not stopped it'll show soon. The Moms just found it yesterday, which means it just grew there because they spend plenty of time each day petting my head. It's probably just a fatty thing or a fluid build-up, but of course it's going to be off to the Vet for that unless it disappears before they can get an appointment. That kind of thing has been know to happen with me. Plus the tear stains went wild overnight, too. Tear stains are a bit of a problem for me anyway, but all of a sudden Blog Mom says I'm starting to look like Liza Minelli and that won't do. So, we have to see if there's an infection causing more tearing or some other problem. It's always something.

I'm editing this to add that I feel just fine. I know how you all worry. I'm in a good mood, my appetite is quite good. My energy level is as normal. I've been dividing my time between some heavy duty squirrel chasing and my absolutely normal but demanding napping shedule.

Anyway, let's hop for now and I'm going to try to get in a real post later on.

  1. Hi Lola,
We are sorry to hear you have a bump on your bump (when my human sister was little she called her head her bump)!!! We bet all the petting you get will have it under control soon...in the meantime milk the fact that you have a bump boo-boo to the fullest.
    Happy Saturday,
    Madi and Mom

  4. Hi Lola - Going to the vet is no fun! My allergies are starting to kick in so I will be off to the vet soon myself. I tend to shake and get very nervous when the vet examines me - but I usually get a treat after it's over!

    Happy blog hop!

    Your friend, Pip

  7. Hmmmm...maybe all the petting CAUSED the lump. You know how if you run around in the same place in your yard, all of a sudden there's no grass there anymore? Maybe it's the same with petting, only opposite - where it causes a lump? Hmmm...I hope not cuz I sure do likes to be petted on my head.

I hopes your lumpy lump and your teary eyes get all better before you have to do the V.E.T. thing. Paws double and triple crossed!

    Mayzie

  9. Oh Lola, no! I hope your bump is nothing serious and that it disappears before you hafta go to the vet's office! It might be just a fatty tissue (and, by the way, YOU are NOT fat so don't go around worry about your weight for the rest of day, for goodness sake) and if that's the case, you are fine!
As far as the Liza Minelli thing goes....well, I WOULD worry about looking like her because she does cry too, too much so please get that taken care of OR we will expect a video of you singing SHOW TUNES in your next post! heehee!
Also, thank you for visiting Daisy's birthday party today! She was a bit nervous that her furry friends would think she looked "A Bit Much" in the Tiara and all but I assured her she looked just perfect for the party. Alas, her One True Love, Fred the Wheaten Terrier, couldn't make it to the party so her dress was only admired by her best girlfriends anyway!
Hope you have a super weekend, Miss Lola!
